The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (CAB), the national professional accounting body, has elected Adeeb Hossain Khan FCA as President and Moddassar Ahmed Siddique FCA, Mostafa Kamal FCA and Md. Mahamud Hosain FCA as Vice Presidents of the Institute for the year -2017. The new office bearers of ICAB were elected by the members of the council -ICAB shortly before holding 44TH Annual General Meeting chaired by outgoing ICAB President Kamrul Abedin FCA at ICAB auditorium on Saturday in the city.
Adeeb Hossain Khan is the Senior Partner of Rahman Rahman Huq, Chartered Accountants (Member Firm of KPMG International). He is a member of the governing body of BRAC and member of MCCI Board from 2010 to 2016.
On the otherhand, Moddassar Ahmed Siddique FCA, after completion of his graduation in Commerce, Siddique joined in the CA Profession as an Articled student in HodaVasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants. Currently Siddique is serving in the KDS Group as Group CFO. Before joining the KDS Group Siddique had served BSRM as Chief Accountant and Aramit Ltd. and Aramit Cement Ltd.
