Meeting of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited held Wednesday at the banks’ head office in the city.
Sheikh Moulana Mohammad Qutubuddin, Chairman of the Committee and President of Baitush Sharaf Anjuman-E-Ittehad Banglaesh presided over the meeting.
The meeting was attended among others by Mufti Sayeed Ahmad, Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Mufti & Muhaddis of Al Jamiatus Siddikiah Darul Ulum (Madrasah-e-Furfura Sharif), Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Rafique, Member Secretary and Professor, International Islamic University, Chittagong, Moulana Serajul Islam, Ex-Principal, Madrasha-E-Mesbahul Ulum, Abdul Raquib, Ex-Executive President of the Bank, Shamsuddin Zia, Mufti and Muhaddis, Al-Jamiatul Islamia, Potya, Chittagong, Moulana Abdus Shaheed Naseem, President, Bangladesh Quran Shikkha Society, Dr. Hasan Mohammad Moinuddin, Associate Professor, Asian University of Bangladesh, Dr. A.S.M. The meeting took various decisions on compliance of Shari`ah and expressed satisfaction in overall activities of the Bank.
