Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Bogra Zone arranged scholarship awarding ceremony for the underprivileged meritorious students on recently at Bogra Convention Center, says a press release.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank distributed scholarship and academic instruments to 287 underprivileged meritorious students as chief guest.
Presided over by Md. Motiar Rahman, Executive Vice President & Head of Bogra Zone, the program was attended by Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Director, Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Executive Vice President and Company Secretary, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Executive Vice President & Head of Development Wing of the bank, Md. Masudur Rahman Milon, President, Bogra Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Former President Fazlur Rahman Paikar, Prof. Md. Rezaunnabi of Govt. Azizul Haq College, Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, Executive Director, TMSS, Monira Sultana, ASP, Bogra along with heads of different educational institutions, guardians of the students and bank officials.
A total of 287 underprivileged meritorious students, who secured GPA-5 in the SSC and equivalent examinations this year, were awarded scholarship and academic instruments for the next two years.
