Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized a discussion and doa program observing the National Mourning Day and the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at virtual platform on Saturday. Professor Md. Nazmul Hassan, Chairman of the bank addressed the program as chief guest while Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank presided over the program. Professor Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, EC Chairman, Major General (Rtd.) Engr. Abdul Matin, Risk Management Committee Chairman, Mohammad Solaiman, Audit Committee Chairman, Professor Dr. Md. Sirajul Karim, Professor Md. Kamal Uddin, Md. Joynal Abedin, Professor Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam, Syed Abu Asad, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saleh Jahur, Professor Dr. Md. Fashiul Alam, Khurshid ul Alam, Mohammed Nasir Uddin, and Md. Zakir Hossain, Directors of the bank addressed. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors also addressed the program. Professor Md. Gias Uddin Talukder, Chairman, Shari`ah Supervisory Committee conducted Doa-Muanzat. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Director conducted the program while Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdus Samad, Member Secretary of Shari`ah Supervisory Committee, Mohammad Ali, Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Taher Ahmed Chowdhury, Hasne Alam, Md. Saleh Iqbal, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and S.M. Rabiul Hassan, Deputy Managing Directors along with executives and employees of the bank attended the program. Besides, 16 Zonal Offices also organized virtual discussion in participation of all branches observing the National Mourning Day, said a press release.
