Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized voluntary blood donation program on the occasion of National Mourning Day and 42nd Martyrdom Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,says a press release.
 Arastoo Khan, Chairman of the bank inaugurated the program on Thursday in Islami Bank Tower. Md. Joynal Abedin, Director, Md. Abdul Hamid Miah, Managing Director & CEO of the bank and Dr. Moniruzzaman, Coordinator of Quantum Foundation addressed in the function.
Top executives and employees of the bank’s Head Office, Zone Offices, Corporate and other Branches of Dhaka participated the program. The program conducted in cooperation with Quantum Foundation, one of the country’s largest donor organizations.
Arastoo Khan, Chairman of the bank said Islami Bank has taken this great initiative of blood donation program for paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 42nd martyrdom anniversary. Islami Bank is playing significant role in saving the lives of serious patient through this program. He urged all concerned to spread this noble initiative across the country.
Md. Joynal Abedin said in his speech; blood donation is the best donation of the society and urged all concerned including officials and employees of the bank to come forward for blood donation.
