Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organised a discussion meeting and doa mahfil on the occasion of the Language Movement Day and International Mother Language Day on February 21 at a virtual platform.
Professor Md Nazmul Hassan, PhD, Chairman of the bank, addressed the programme as the chief guest, while Professor Dr Md Salim Uddin, Chairman, Executive Committee, Mohammad Solaiman, Chairman, Audit Committee, Major General (Retd) Engr Abdul Matin, Chairman, Risk Management Committee and Professor Dr Qazi Shahidul Alam, Director of the bank, addressed the programme as special guest on the occasion. Professor Md Kamal Uddin, PhD, Md Joynal Abedin, Syed Abu Asad, Dr Tanveer Ahmad, Md Quamrul Hasan, Professor Dr Mohammad Saleh Jahur, Professor Dr Md Fashiul Alam, Khurshid-Ul-Alam and Mohammed Nasir Uddin, Directors of the bank, also attended the programme. Presided over by Muhammad Qaisar Ali, Managing Director (Current Charge) of the bank, the programme was addressed by Md Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Director and Md Maksudur Rahman, Sr Executive Vice President of the bank.
