A meeting of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) was held on Friday at the Board Room of Islami Bank Tower.
Engineer Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting, says a press release.
Local and foreign directors along with Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the bank, were present at the meeting.
The meeting expressed its satisfaction while evaluating the performance of the bank over the success and progress achieved so far and adopted some important business policies.
Besides, the management was advised to play a pioneer role in industry and employment generation by enhancing more investment for accelerating the national economy.
