The board of director of the Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has approved 10 percent cash dividend for its shareholders.
The bank announced the dividend at its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually on Thursday. The board of directors in the AGM also approved Financial Statements of the Bank for the year ended on December 31, 2019.
Professor Md Nazmul Hassan, PhD, Chairman of the bank presided over the meeting.
Bank’s Vice Chairmen Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi of KSA, Md Shahabuddin, Director Dr Areef Suleman, Managing Director and CEO Md Mahbub ul Alam, Chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee Prof Dr Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukdar and Deputy Managing Director J Q M Habibullah, among others, participated in the meeting.
