A certificate awarding ceremony was held recently at Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University (DU) on Human Resource Management Competence (HRMC). HRMC is a six weeks duration course organized by Management Development Program (MDP) of IBA, DU.
The course is designed to give the participants an in-depth knowledge of HR. This will help the participants contribute to be succeeded in their business by managing and utilizing the staffs in an efficient and effective way.
In general, the course seeks to enable participants to explain and apply the basic principles, tools, and techniques of the human resource management.
Specifically, the course explained the fundamental concepts of HR, job description, HR planning, recruitment, interview process, performance appraisal, compensation management, motivation, work life balance, managing diversity issues, conflict management, HR Accounting etc. A total of 66 participants attended the course.
Dr AKM Saiful Majid , Professor and Director of IBA was the chief Guest of the ceremony while Dr Md. Mohiuddin , Chairperson , MDP, IBA also present and distribute certificates among the participants. Course Coordinator of HRMC Sutapa Bhattacharjee was also present in the ceremony.
