After a long time break to act in television dramas, noted actor Zahid Hossain Shovon is getting response from the viewers. In Eid-ul-Azha, Shovon acted in two special dramas – on Boishakhi TV Hanif Rubel directed seven-episode serial Bagan Bari and on ATN Bangla Sohel directed faction drama Golmal Besamal. Shovon is getting huge response from all for acting in these two dramas. He is specially getting response for playing the role of ‘Sundor Chairman’ in serial Bagan Bari. His acting got appreciation from the viewers. For this reason, directors are showing their keen interest to take in their works now.
Shovon informed that from now he will acting in television dramas and serials regularly. He lastly worked in ETV as Head of Programme. Now he is not doing any job. The actor said, “For acting in Eid serial Bagan Bari I am getting huge response from all. Yesterday morning one of my fans outside the country appreciated my acting in the serial over mobile phone.
I am getting inspiration by new way. For this reason, I want to be regular in acting now. In fact, I never wanted to be actor of television drama or film. My drama mentor late Humayun Faridee always told me to be an actor. So, I always wanted to be an actor. Now I am prepared to act in those roles which will be appropriate regarding my present age. I believe directors will keep their full confidence on me.”
In TV drama, Shovon came into
limelight to act in BTV’s drama Priyojon, produced by Fakrul Abedin Dulal. According to him, this drama was turning point of his career during that time.
