A Netrakona court awarded death penalty to one person for killing his wife at village Sukari- Dakkinpara of Atpara upazila under Netrakona district in the year of 2017 on Thursday .
District and session judge Netrakona KM Resheduzzaman Raza pronounced the verdict at his crowded court room in presence of the convicted person as saying that the convicted Jamaluddin will be hanged on the gallows untill his death.
The court sources said, the convicted person was identified as Jamaluddin sarker, 45, son of Isaruddin sarker of the aforsaid village Sukari-Dakkinpara.
