Cox’s Bazar Correspondent :
A husband tortured and killed his wife at Rohingya Bosti in Kutupalong under Ukhia upazila of the district on early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Khatija Khatun, 25, wife of Nur Mohammad of the area and mother of two children.
Sub-inspector (SI) Didarul Alam of Ukhia Police Station confirmed the incident saying that they recovered the body and sent it to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. The body bore several injury marks on various parts.
A murder case was filed with the Police Station accusing the killer husband who is now absconding.
