A court in Chittagong convicted a husband named Md. Hanif with 3 years rigorous imprisonment for torturing his wife .
Judge of Women and Child Repressioin Tribunal-2, Md. Zakir Hossain announced this verdict on Tuesday .
Court sources said, Md.Hanif of Sadar Upazila of Bhola distsrict married Shamsunahar Renu in 2011 and were residing in Chittagong .
Sources said cruel husband beats her wife mercilessly for bring dowery amount of Tk.2 lakh from her parents on March 24, 2012 .
