Badal Mridha, 38 arrested for torturing his wife Taslima Begum, 35, mother of two children on Thursday night.
Taslima was rescued and admitted by her paternal relatives with severe injuries caused by torture after chained with lock by inlaws demanding dowry on Wednesday.
Firoj Kabir, officer in charge of Gournadi police station, said drive for arresting another accused Lal Mia Mridha, brother of Badal Mridha, going on.
