Husband arrested on Saturday afternoon for killing wife by beating at Kazirchar in Muladi upazila of Barisal.
The victim was identified as Yasmin Akhtar, 35, mother of 4 children, and arrested husband was Ziaul Haoladar, 40, said Sub Inspector Shahid of Muladi police station.
S M Akhtaruzzaman, district police superintendent, said Yasmin was severely injured by beating of her husband on Friday night and later admitted at Muladi upazila health complex on Saturday morning after her condition deteriorated by treatment of rural medical practitioner.
