An organisation named Humanity Revelation, Bangladesh, has expressed its desire to contest in the coming polls under the banner of 14-party alliance led by the Awami league. As such, the organisation leaders have requested the Election Commission to register them as a political party.
“We have been in the country’s political field with organizational structre for the last 35 years. We don’t want to see the ‘anti-liberation forces’ or their allies in the country’s power once again. So, we have decided to join active politics for contesting upcoming election,” Humanity Revelation, Bangladesh Chairman Allama Imam Hayat said it while addressing a press conference in the Sagor-Runi Auditorium of the Dhaka Reporter’s Unity (DRU) on Saturday.
“We have already submitted an application to the EC to get registration. But till now there is no response” he said, adding that they will participate in the elections to ensure a participatory free and fair election.
Party’s Secretary General Sheikh Rayhan Rahbar, Dhaka University’s Professor Dr. Ataur Miazee, Prefessor Dr. Ehsanul Hadi, Advocate Abu Towhid Bhuyian Prince and senior leaders of the party also attended the programme.
