Human remains from 12 graves at a graveyard in Piroj Ali union parishad of Sadar upazila went missing on Monday.
Safikul Islam Manju Sarker, chairman of the union parishad, said locals found the graves in an unearthed condition in the morning. Later they found that there were no remains in the graves, added the UP chairman.
A general diary was filed with Joydebpur Police Station in this connection.
