A group of the Supreme Court lawyers on Wednesday took oath not to provide legal assistance to the people involved in the killing of Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi.
They took the oath in a human chain programme organized by ‘Lawyers Writers Forum’ at the Supreme Court premises yesterday.
The lawyers said, they were demanding the proper application of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act and fair trial for the interest of the safety of the next generation.
Advocate Shahida Begum, Advocate Kazi Sajoar Hossain, former District Judge Badrul Islam, Advocate Suraiya Begum, Advocate Anjuman Ara Begum, among others, were present in the human chain programme.
