On demanding the continuation of the Rohingyas killing and commemorating the deadly attack on Muslims in Myanmar Muslim community, the Rohingyas organized a human chain and road trip in different camps of Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar recently .
They expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, law-enforcing force and local public for providing humanitarian shelter in the Bangladesh and said everyone should live with peaceful co-operation by avoiding terrorist and unlaw-enforcing activities here.
We look forward to get justice in Rohingya genocide, including 10 members of Tabligh Jamaat, on 3 June 2012 in the International Court. When the 5-point demand raised by Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will fulfilled, we will voluntarily return home.
Md. Elias Arakani, Md. Alam Majhi, Nur Bashar, Amir Hossain, Kabir Ahmed, Mohammad Saber and Md. Rafique on behalf of Rohingyas spoke on that human chain. They further said in 2012, a group of Tablig Jamaat from Yangon started going to Tango killed 10 members of Tabligh Jamaat, and some members of the extremist Rakhine and the army forces started attacking minority Muslims.
Since then, there has been an increase in the incidents of cross-border attacks and counter-attacks in different places due to the spread of communal tensions in Rakhine.
Thousands of Rohingya women and men and children were brutally murdered on August 24, 2017 that has triggered a global conscience. Considering the protection of the Muslim and regional peace, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina opened the border and gave humanitarian shelter to the huge Rohingya people in Bangladesh territory.
