At least 1500 students, teachers, members of G.body, family members and locals formed a human chain demanding recovery of missing accounting teacher of Gomail high School Md. Amzad Hossain
At least 2000 people joined the human chain formed at Norsinghopur bus stand area of Ashulia at around 11:30am on Thursday.
Head teacher of Gomail High School Abdus Samad, assistant teacher Jillur Rahman, Member of governing body Sharif Sarkar, victim’s wife Soraban Tohura and daughter Tamanna addressed the human chain which continued for about one hour.
They criticised police for failing to recover missing teacher more than three week after missing. They also demanded immediate recovery of missing school teacher. Later, they blocked Abdulahpur- baipail main roaad in the area. . At the time they demanded immediate recovery and returning of their teacher.
On 26 March, Amzad hossain was missing from Motizhil area on his way of backing father in laws house Chittagong to Dhaka. A general diary was filed in this connection with Ashulia police station. After 3 week of his missing police could not take any step of searching him.
