Human chain against rapists at IU

The students of Islamic University (IU), Kushtia formed human chain demanding exemplary punishment against rapist and murderer on the campus on Monday.
The protest was organized by IU Chhatra Moitree unit in front of the ‘Mrittunjoyee Mujib’ near the main entrance of the university around 11:00am.
IU Chhatra Moitree unit president and member of the central Chhatra Moitree Morshed Habib spoke out here as chief guest while its unit secretary Abdur Rouf conducted the chain.
Vice-president Arifur Rahman, Organizing Secretary Shamimul Islam Sumon, Office secretary Mutasim Billah Pappu, publicity secretary Morshedul Islam and its information and technology affairs secretary Akhter Hossain Azad spoke here, among others.
Over one hundred student from various department participated on the occasion with various play-card while they raised out their voice against the rape, murder and others offences in the country.
