In the border area of Moulvibazar due to erosion of River Kushiara many area are now under threat to abolish.
In the spot it is fond that water level of kushiara decrease in winter. As a result erosion increasing. Some village like tajpur, Lama Tajpur are facing in challenge. Most affected area is Sherpur lanchghat. Here erosion is acute.
A mosque and some houses are in danger.
30 Families spent their night without sleep. Becouse their home may abolish to the river at any time.
Sunil Baiday and Shah Alam of the area said the are in great danger. If quick steep is not taken they will lost their home. Government try to chech erosion by throwing sand bag but failed.
Khalilpur UP AL GS Abdul Hakim Said we learnt that government give sanction for long term project. UP Chairman Aurobindo Poddar said for permanent Solution a scheme of TK 2 cr 48 lakh is sanctioned.
We are hopeful for a solution.
