Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a discussion meeting on “Hamdard International Centre for Integrated Herbal Research and Development (HICIHRD)” on Monday on its campus at Hamdard Nagar, Gazaria, Munshiganj.
The founder and chief patron of the University Dr Hakim Md. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan was present as chief guest. The Vice Chancellor of the University and the Chairman of HICIHRD Prof Md. Abdul Mannan, PhD presided over the meeting while the Treasurer of the University and the Vice Chairman of HICIHRD Prof Dr Md. Ghulam Murtaza, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hamdard University Bangladesh Prof Dr AK Azad Khan, Senior Director Marketing of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh and the member of the Board of Trustees of Hamdard University Dr Hakim Rafiqul Islam, Prof of the Department of Pharmacy of Dhaka University Dr Sitesh C Bachar , the former Professor Syed Hadiuzzamman of the Department of Botany of DU, General Secretary of Bangladesh Medicine Industry Association SM Shafiuzzamman, members of the Board of Trustees of Hamdard University Lt Colonel Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury (Retd.), Dr Hakim Nargish Marjhan, Mihir Chakraborty, the former Director of National Herbarium Dr Motuir Rahman, the Chairman of Neem foundation Dr Md.
