Hamdard University Bangladesh (HUB) hosted freshers’ reception and orientation program on Wednesday for the newly admitted students of Fall 2016 at its permanent campus at Hamdard City of Science, Education and Culture, Gazaria, Munshiganj.
The founder of Hamdard University Bangladesh Dr Hakim Md. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan graced the occasion as the chief guest. Member of the Board of Trustees and Dean of Faculty of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine Prof Dr A K Azad Khan was the special guest.
The Treasurer and Vice – Chancellor (In charge), Rafiqul Islam presided over the program while members of the Board of Trustees Lt. Colonel Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury (Retd.), Dr. Hakim Nargish Marjhan, Mohammad Zamal Uddin (Russell), Registrar Md. Lutfur Rahman, students, officers and staff were present on the occasion.
In the speech the chief guest Dr. Hakim Md. Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan welcomed the freshers to Hamdard University Bangladesh. He urged and advised the freshers to properly utilize their valuable time in the University.
He urged that after getting a proper education from the University, they should contribute to the community and the nation.
