Huawei sends students to China for training

Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd has sent 9 students from leading universities of Bangladesh for two-week long training programme in China scheduled from 5th to 19th September of 2015.
Huawei has selected top 9 winners among 500 plus students presentations from five universities — BUET, DU, IUT, CUET and KUET — through judges panel comprising of faculty members and experts from Huawei.
‘Seeds for the Future’ is the Huawei’s global talent hunting programme that is its most heavily invested CSR activity. The programme seeks to develop local ICT talent, enhance knowledge transfers and improve people’s understanding of ICT and interest in the telecommunications industry. Huawei selected the winners at the grand finale of the ‘Seeds for Future’ talent-developing program on 11th June 2015 at the Eden Ballroom, Amari Dhaka Hotel in Gulshan.
State Minister for ICT Division, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, attended the event as chief guest.
During two-week stay in China, students will participate in various knowledge sharing and learning sessions. They will first go to Beijing to receive cultural training by Beijing Language and Culture University. In second week, students will go to the Huawei Headquarters located in Shenzhen where they will be able to study the most advanced ICT technologies. They will also receive training from the Huawei Experts. The students will then sit for a test that will determine their learning during the visit and will receive certificate after that.
