Huawei, one of the largest Arnold Smartphone Brand in the world on Sunday launched its latest version smartphone in the country with a view to providing modern technological support for the mobile users.
Ingmar Wang, Director of Device Business launched the device in Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the capital.Addressing the launching ceremony, the director spoke various facilities of the new device which is not available in the contemporary phones in the market.
“The device has high-end smartphone features at a very reasonable price.Users who rely heavily on their smartphone for their social and business purposes will love this new device from Huawei”, he said.
The Huawei G7 Plus boasts an outstanding battery life. The 3000 mAh battery offers up to eight hours of online video streaming, 10 hours of phone calls or six hours of web browsing. The smart dual antenna of Huawei G7 Plus with switching technology allows up to 40 percent higher quality connectivity and 100 percent stronger signal strength in weak-signal environments, Ingmar Wang also said.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, expressed his confidence that Huawei will reach its goal of shipping 100 million units by the year’s end. On year-on-year basis, Huawei’s smartphone shipments grew by 98 per cent in Europe and 70 per cent in Middle-East and Africa region. Recently, Huawei announced its performance results for the third quarter of 2015 where it witnessed a steady growth. 33 per cent of this growth came from mid-to-high end devices. Huawei shipped 27.4 million in the July-September period of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 63 percent.
Talking to the reporter, Thouhidul Hassan, Head of HR of Huawei Bangladesh has underscored the need for using modern technology to avail the international standard services. “Country’s economy can be benefited to apply modern technology and Huawei is sincerely working to provide latest technological facilities for its users”, said Thouhidul.
He urged the government to undertake more effective initiative to spread the technological facilities for boosting the economy. The joint initiative of the public and private sector can enhance the ICT sector of the country, he opined.
The Huawei G7 Plus has enhanced fingerprint technology for multiple functions, making it faster, more accurate, more ergonomic and both safer and easier to use. The body of the device is composed of aircraft grade aluminum, informed he.
The Huawei G7 Plus is priced at BDT 34,990. The phone will be available in the Huawei showrooms in Basundhara City, Jamuna Future Park and Huawei Brand Image Shops around the country.
