The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations 2017 will be published on July 23, Education Ministry sources said.
Ministry’s Additional Secretary (Secondary and Higher Education Division) Ruhi Rahman told The New Nation that they had received the Prime Minister’s nod in this respect.
As per the tradition, the Education Minister, along with chairmen of all Education Boards, will
place the result sheets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban that day.
Later in the day, the Education Minister will officially announce the results in a media briefing, making them accessible to the students.
All the students can get results from the Education Board official result website (http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd).
A total of 11,83,686 examinees — 6,35,697 boys and 5,47,989 girls — from 8,864 institutions under eight General Education Boards, Madrasah Education Board, Bangladesh Technical Education Board and Diploma in Business Studies (DIBS) Board appeared at the HSC and its equivalent examinations this year at 2,497 examination centres across the country.
The written examinations ended on May 1 while the practical tests ended on May 25.
