Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and how he trained talented aspiring engineers from economically backward households to enter the most prestigious engineering institutes of our country, without charging any fee. He taught a batch called Super 30 every year, where he trained those he believed had the capabilities but not the funds to crack the examination. So, the makers of the film have decided to promote the film in a special way. Hrithik Roshan is all set to host a big bash on June 23,2018, for 26 students, of Super 30 academy of Bihar, who cracked the JEE-Advanced 2018.
Talking about the party, Hrithik said in an official statement that, “In the process of shooting for Super 30, I have got a fair understanding of how tough these exams are. Kudos to the students and their great mentor, Anand Kumar. The party is just a small way to meet and personally congratulate them. I wish them greater heights in life, in whatever they do.”
Anand Kumar established the Super 30 programme in Patna in 2002. Super 30 is slated for release on January 25, 2019.
