The two-day long Housing Finance Fair 2017 will begin from October 19 at Sonargaon hotel with a view to boosting the housing business in the country.
Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) is organising the fair with the assistance of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB).
Managing Director of BHBFC Debasish Chakrabarty announced the date of the fair at a press conference in the Auditorium of the BHBFC on Wednesday.
Housing and Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain will inaugurate the fair.
Debasish Chakrabarty said that a total of 82 stalls from home and abroad would participate in the fair.
Besides, few developing and gas companies will also take part in the fair, he said.
The BHBFC managing director said, the motto of the fair is to bring all the institutions under an umbrella to boost the real estate business with slogan ‘house for all.’ The initiative will also contribute to the national economy.
The clients and the institutions from home and abroad will get a lot of information about housing business in Bangladesh, Debasish Chakrabarty said.
He said that the BHBFC disbursed Tk 278 crore among the clients in 2016-17 fiscal year. It also achieved tremendous success implementing Annual Performance Agreement.
Debasish Chakrabarty also urged the interested clients to attend the fair so that they can easily buy a flat or build a house getting loan form BHBFC.
BHBFC General Managers Dr. Daulatunnahar Khanam and Zahidul Haque, Senior Vice-President of REHAB Liakot Ali Bhuiyan and Chief Executive Officer of GreenBizz ad point Aftab bin Tamij were present at the press conference, among others.
Liakot Ali Bhuiyan assured of providing all the information and help to the clients.
He also urged the clients to buy flat from the members of REHAB and avoid the so-called real estate businessmen.
