Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife Liza Sultana (24) from the Sylhet citys convenience market. Liza is the second wife of the deceased Matab Uddin (55). He was working in the e-information service center of Beanibazar upazila.
The body was recovered from the seven-storey building of Karna Vay in Subidbazar area on Friday noon. Awami League general secretary Iqbal Ahmed Chowdhury said that Liza was not in the marriage. There was a false list made by Matabs first wife who had been divorced. She was married to Liza by concealing information. Matabs relatives were present in the marriage. But a few days ago my mother-in-law from the United States said that she would pay cabin, leave home and go to her fathers house. Liza then told him I do not want money.
