A housewife was stabbed to death by miscreants at Noagaon village under Sreepur upazila in Gazipur, recently.
The deceased is Minara Begum, 44, wife of Siraj Uddin of the village. Sreepur police OC Abdul Motaleb Miah said Miscreants stabbed Minara as she saw them to flee after killing a woman and her daughter early Friday. She succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital in the capital’s Uttara around 11:20pm Friday, said Mojnul Haq, Awami League president of Rajbari union unit.
The body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College morgue for autopsy said the OC. Earlier, the miscreants hacked a woman and her daughter to death at Atlora village under Shreepur upazila early Friday.
