A man reportedly raped a housewife after calling her to his home in Jashore’s Chowgacha upazila, after offering her to give loan money.
The incident took place at Badekhanpur village in the upazila at 7.30am on February 24.
The victim lodged a case with Chowgasa Police Station against accused Mizanur Rahman, 55, on Thursday.
In the case, the victim said, “Mizanur called her to his house to give Tk 1000 loan on February 24. When I was arrived his house he
allured me with huge amount money to accept his unethical proposal. He violated me when I refused his proposal.”
“Hearing my cry for help Miznur’s wife Monibala Begum and son Tarif came into the house and beat me bringing the allegation of theft,” said the victim in the case.
About the allegation accused Mizanur told our correspondent that the allegation is totally false but he switched off his phone when asked about his whereabouts.
The police station inspector Golam Kibria confirmed the matter.
