A housewife killed in a road accident in the city`s Khilgaon area.
The deceased has been identified as Runa Begum, 40, wife of Abdur Rahim.
The accident occurred on the slopes of the Khilgaon flyover at 9:30 am on Thursday.
Rahim was injured in the incident. He was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of Khilgaon Police Station Mashiur Rahman confirmed the incident to The New Nation.
He said the accident occurred when a car knocked the motorbike from behind.
The couple was going to take their son from school riding on the motorbike.
