A housewife was killed allegedly by her in-laws in Raozan municipality area under Raozan upazila of the district on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Halima, 28, wife of Babul, hailed from ward number six of Raozan municipality area of the upazila, district police said.
Police arrested three people including the victim’s husband Babul on charges of their involvement in the killing.
Duty Officer at Raozan police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Quamrul said Halima, mother of three children, was killed in her husband’s house on Sunday night while police recovered the body this morning and sent it to the morgue for autopsy.
The reason behind the killing could be known after interrogating the arrested, SI Quamrul added.
