A housewife was hacked to death allegedly by her husband at Alampur village in Golapganj upazila of Sylhet district on Sunday.
The deceased is Jonirani Das, 21, daughter of Sajol Kanti das of Talibpur village in Borolka upazila.
Family sources said Rongesh dev of Alampur village in Golapganj upazila, married Jony One years ago.
On Sunday noon, the People Found the dead body of a women floating in the Kushiara river. Many take the photo of Joni. Some hour later ASI Khaled came to the spot and identify the body seeing her picture.
The deceased cousin suronjit das informed joni was married a year ago. Their conjugal life was peaceful. Her husband is a tailor. On Thursday at 12-30 joni talk her mother in mobile.
On Saturday at 3 PM Rangesh informed his mother in law that joni is missing. On Sunday Joni’s father lodged a case against Rangesh and his elder sister Shilpi in Golapgong Police station.

The body was sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
