Miscreant(s) hacked a housewife to death at her residence in West Nakhalpara of Dhaka Thursday (March 8).
The deceased was identified as Amena, 65.
Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Rashid told Banglanews that Amena was owner of the house.
“The ground floor had no tenant. A young man entered the house to see it, after saying to rent it”, said the OC.
“Amena was stabbed while she went down to the ground floor to let him see the house”, added the OC.
However, police recovered the body from the spot at around 3:00pm. The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital (SSMCH) for an autopsy.
