Police on Monday recovered the body of a housewife from her Gulshan residence.
The deceased was identified as Ishrat Jahan Mitu, wife of Md Ratul, managing director of RP group.Gulshan Police OC Abul Hasan told the media that the body of Mitu, a mother of three children, was recovered from the ground of house 9, road 69 of Gulshan 2.
He said police initially suspect the woman died after falling from the rooftop. Detailed information could be provided after the investigation, the OC added.
Meanwhile, Mitu’s family claimed the death is a murder not a case of suicide.
Alleging that Mitu has been killed following family feud, they demanded proper investigation of the incident.
