Police recovered the body of a woman who committed suicide at Moheshkhali on Saturday.
The incident took place at the house of Abdul Hakim Prakash Dhakayya Magistrate of Gorakghata Shikder Para village on August 1.
Hussein Mohsen’s Assistant Engineer Abu Raihan (27) married Antara Begum (20), the daughter of Soan Ali of Satbaria village in Bheramara thana of Kushtia district one year ago .
Swami Abu Raihan said , they had a quarrel with her on the marriage of her younger sister. Husband and wife were living in Dhaka a few months ago. In the last month, the husband’s job is as assistant engineer of the project at Moheshkhali Digital Island.
The house, Antara Begum, arrives at Maheshkhali a week before the house of Gorakghata Hakim Sodagar. On Friday night, a dispute arose between husband and wife regarding the admission of college. When the husband went to the market on August 18, the wife committed suicide by hanging in the room.
At 1pm, husband Abu Raihan came home and called the wife and closed the door and saw the wife’s hanging body. At the time, with the help of the next person, the doctor at the Moheshkhali hospital was declared dead. Moheshkhali Police Station preparing for preparing the inquest report of the women and sending them to the morgue.
Husband Abu Raihan is in police custody until this report is written. Maheshkhali Police Station OC Pradip Kumar Das said that the body of the woman identified with the throat was recovered. Swami is in police custody.
