Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday night. Wife of Bokul Chondro Bormon, deceased Bithi Rani Bormon, 22, was a resident of Bhorpur village in the upazila.
Family members of Bithi saw her body hanging inside the house at night and informed police. Shahinuzzaman Khan, officer-in-charge of Pagla Police Station, said police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Family members claimed Bithi committed suicide by hanging herself.
