A housewife committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Arju Begum, 19, wife of Jashim Uddin, hailing from Bhola District.Police recovered the body from the B-block residential area under Halishahar Thana in the morning.Halishahar police sources said that Arju was a garment worker and she lived with her husband at the house of one Aziz Khan at Halishahar residential area.Early in the morning, she hanged herself from a fan at her home at around 8:00 am.
