One housewife named Tumpa Akhter(21) commits suicide inside the residence by hanging with the scrap on Wednesday .
The incident occurred at Feroj Shah colony under Akbar Shah thana in city . Tumpa is the wife of Md. Yakub. Chittagong Medical College Hospital police camp sources said after marriage of Tumpa with Md. Yakub, Tumpa was residing in his father’s house . In absence of other family members of Yakuba’s family, Tumpa commits suicide by hanging with ceiling fan. Being apprised among the neighbours, the Tumpa was rushed to CMCH with critical condition where the attending physicians declared her dead.
The body sent to morgue for autopsy , hospital sources said.
