Security guards of Equity Samantha, a residential building at the port city’s Mehedibagh, rushed the Bali Akter Poly, to a nearby private hospital early on Thursday.
She was pronounced dead by doctors at the hospital. Poly, who hailed from Cox’s Bazar, started working at home of one Md Imtiaz on on the eighth floor of the building 20 days ago, Sub Inspector Md Saleh Uddin of Chawkbazar Police Station told .
“The security guards found the girl lying at an empty space on the second floor of the building and took her to the hospital. She was later declared dead.”
“The girl probably was trying to climb down from the [eighth floor] apartment with help of a scarf tied to the grill of a ventilator but lost grip and fell down,” said Saleh Uddin.He said they were still trying to detect the reasons of fleeing from upper floor of the building.
