A woman wife was committed suicide in her father’s house at Ulipur upazila due to family feud on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akhter(19) daughter of Safeal Rahman a retired Army personal from village Bakara Dalalipara under Dharnibari union of Ulipur Upazila.Police and villagers said Sharmin got married with her cousin Roman Miah(25) at Balakandi village of Rajarhat upazila in the district two years back ago. They used to quarrel each other due to family feud for long. The house wife returned to her father’s house where she was committed suicide with her scarf hanging herself with the branch of a guava tree near her father’s house.
Police recovered her dead body in the evening on the day.Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ulipur police station Moazzem Hossain ensured the incident to the New Nation on the day. An unnatural death (UD) case was filed in the evening in the connection OC, added.
