Miscreants torched a house at Barandi village under Abhaynagar upazila in Jessore early Tuesday. It happened after filing a case following feud over a piece of land, said victim Abul Hossain.
Confirming the information, Sheikh Nasir Uddin, officer in-charge, Abhaynagar Police Station told that the police were trying to arrest the miscreants after filing a case.
Abul Hossain told newsmen that valuables of his house were burnt as Asar Ali’s men torched his residence after a complaint was made with the police on Sunday. ‘ The miscreants earlier felled a number of trees from his land,’ Abul Added.
