The coronavirus test for Bangladesh national cricketers began in house to house on Sunday. The Covid-19 test will be continue today. The cricketers, who will be negative for the coronavirus test will enter the bio-secure bubble environment on August 24.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on the same day. They will directly go to the hotel. There they will take a three-day quarantine. After the quarantine both teams will take part in their respective practice sessions.

The five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirupur. The five T20Is will be held on September 1, 3, 5, 8, 10. All the T20I matches will start at 4.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Though Bangladesh are comparatively weaker in T20I cricket but recently Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe and Australia in the T20I series. But if Bangladesh retain their supremacy against New Zealand, Bangladesh will move into the top five of the ICC T20I ranking. After beating the Australia Bangladesh are now very confident. Before the World T20I selectors of Bangladesh team want to finalise their opening combination. Liton Das and Mohammad Naim will be the first preference if dashing opener Tamim Iqbal cannot recover from his injury.
