A 12-year-old house help died after allegedly falling from the rooftop of a six-storey building in Baizid Bostami area of Chittagong city on Monday.
The deceased Lima Akhter was employed at the residence of one Bakhtair Uddin on the top floor of the building at DOHS residential area, said Officer-in-Charge of Baizid Bostami Police Station Mohammad Mohsin.
Bakhtair’s wife Shaheda Akhter took seriously injured Lima at Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 8:00am and doctors declared the girl dead, said the OC.
