A minor died after falling from the rooftop of a building in Dhaka’s Uttara area early Friday.
The deceased was a 14-year-old house help and had been working at a doctor’s house in Uttara’s Sector 1, said Sub-Inspector Mohammad Shafiqul Islam of Airport Police Station.

The deceased was a 14-year-old house help and had been working at a doctor’s house in Uttara’s Sector 1, said Sub-Inspector Mohammad Shafiqul Islam of Airport Police Station.
Around 1:00am, she tried to flee the five-storey building by climbing down from
the rooftop. Suddenly, she slipped and fell on the ground and died on the spot, the SI said.
The police officer said they were trying to know the reason of her attempt to flee.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
