Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) is conducting the mobile courts at the markets almost every day during the holy month of Ramadan to control the price hike. CCC has conducted mobile court at A K Khan point and Pahartoli bazar in the port city on Tuesday morning.
The Executive Magistrate of CCC Sanjida Sharmin led the team of mobile court and the Monitoring Cell. The mobile court visited the kitchen market and shops at A K Khan point and Pahartoli bazar.
The mobile court fined Tk 30,000 to a hotel for selling low quality iftar items and also fined some other shops for not hanging the price list at the shops and selling goods at higher price than the fixed price.
