As the number of sick children has increased in the hospital rapidly, so parents are worried about their children sufferings from diarrhea, bronchiolitis and pneumonia.
Meanwhile, insufficient doctors, staffs and inadequate seats in generally have to face such a big number of patients in the hospitals every day.
On Thursday, it was learned from the spot that the Ward No-7 of Pediatric Department of Dhaka Medical College & Hospital (DMCH) where total seats are about 18 for the children, but there were
about 60 patients which means three more patients in a single bed.
A mother of sick child named Lina Begum from Chandpur told the New Nation that they came to DMCH after visiting four more hospitals. But in her bed there are two more child patients along with their guardians that made intolerable sufferings to the all seat holders.
