UNB, Khulna :
A reported drug dealer was hospitalised with 600 yaba pills in his stomach on June 7 and is undergoing treatment at the Khulna Medical College Hospital prison cell.
The man was identified as Md Saiduzzaman, 35, son of late Balayet Hossain of Keshabpur in Jashore.
A case was filed against Saiduzzaman with Sonadanga Model Police Station on June 7 after he had been arrested with 26 pieces of yaba.
Detective Branch sub-inspector Abul Hasan said they were preparing to place Saiduzzaman before the court that morning but admitted him to Khulna Medical College Hospital with severe stomach pain.
He confessed that there were 600 pieces of yaba pills in his stomach.
Thereafter, so far 200 pieces of the banned drug have been removed from inside him, Abul Hasan added.
